For those who want to know what our future 6-7 year plans are you can find out here!. starting at 11:30 PM EST.

Trip schedule up to 2013

2010 a park meet at sfkk
2011 park meet again
2012 3 park trip (beech bend, sfkk, and kings island)
2013 mid-west (SFKK, Holiday World, Kings Island)

Mid-West Trip Schedule:

day 1. meet at sfkk - drive to holiday world around 6-7PM - stay at hotel.
day 2. holiday world - stay at hotel
day 3. drive to kings island - stay at hotel
day 4. Kings Island - trip over.

Estimated time of trips: Summer of each year until im out of college (studying engineering to get a job at GCI or gravity group or someplace else)

Mode of transportation: well if we get enough money we could afford buses, but if not drive, car-pool maybe. rent a SUV (lol just imagine the fun) this trip we will probably have to limit to just around 20 people. Of course if it resorts to having to drive i wouldnt mind paying for gas.- from a IM with cody (rcfreak)

Food: price should include 2 meals a day.

Lodging: Price will include each night you are able to stay. If you choose to have a seperate room that will be a little extra. If not we most likely will pair 2-3 people to a room to help save money. If you are paired the priceof the room for the night will be divided among all of the occupants so instead of it being liek 300 and having 3 people in a room it would be 100 a person. The places we stay at will be places like ramada, holiday inn, comfort suites to save us money

Flexibility: If you are unable to attend all of the trip or just a few parks we will only charge you for the part of the trip that you can attend so you dont have to pay like 2000 dollars to attend for just a few parks. and we will allow the use of season passes to places like cedar fair parks, and six flags parks. so that way you dont have to pay for a ticket even though you have a season pass.

I hope you all are excited for the trip as that covers the mid west trip and pretty much sets up the others. I'll try to annouce the list of parks at least for the east coast trip tomorrow and tomorrow im gettin a list of parks for the deep south trip. So look for that annoucement this week also.

Future Features/Promotions

We will hopefully be adding a store or something next year where you can buy just about anything from SFKK. We will also include shirts and other features as well.

Promotions will be things such as ticket give-aways to SFKK, discounts on Season Passes and more.

The ticket give-aways will be the big six passes which for 30 dollars you get 6 tickets to the park. These may work for other parks also, but im not sure.

We plan on buying a advertising spot for facebook ads and possible google ads starting next year. We will also re-attempt to add the site to the sfkk wiki page once we get more established.

We are working on getting us added to RCDB.com so if everyone can send them a message asking to add our link to the page that would be great.

No offense here, but isn't it a bit too early for a 6-7 year plan. There 2-3 year plan is ok, but 6-7 might be a bit long away. I still want to hear it anyway! Maybe i'll guess it right again!

It's just rough plans, and it is all greatly dependant by how our site grows in the next few years. They are all just ideas that can be changed, and are meant to show what we could do if we spread the word and the site takes off.

I think this is far fetched big time. lol.

Austin
08-04-2009, 02:20 AM
Its not jordan. Ive been putting this together for the last few days and it will be about 500 dollars cheaper then the avg price TPR charges just becasue we dont have buses.

Its easier to afford it to.

6-7 years...wow. I can see the park meet ups in the near future, and probably even the trip to beech, sfkk, and ki. i'm all for being hopeful..lets just see where the site goes...but hey so far the site is doing pretty well..so its not all so far fetched.

however, doing wdw in four days? magic kingdom and epcot take at least 2 days each...but hey its your itinerary for the ...future. lol

Austin
08-04-2009, 02:56 AM
lol wdw takes 4 days for me. 1 day at each park bc we are sorta pros at the resort :P

Austin
08-04-2009, 11:22 AM
I'm going to re-revise this mid-west trip. it most likely will feature 5 parks instead of 10. And ive made changes on lodging

you can be a pro at seeing everything, but taking in everything? there are so many nooks and cranny's and little things you miss if you rush through. for a coaster tour it totally makes sense for 4 days though. i guess i'm a disney parks fanboy buuut. whatever. haha.

Austin
08-04-2009, 11:50 AM
same lol. ive been 7 times in the period of 10 years. when we go though we stay 5 days so we have a shopping day. but we usualy know how to do everything without having waits thanks to fast pass

Austin
08-04-2009, 11:52 AM
Anyway the revised trip plan is now up.

palmer
08-04-2009, 12:08 PM
When i go, i usually go for two weeks, 4 days of Disney Parks, 2 days of Universal Parks, 1 day at Downtown Disney (mainly Disney Quest) 1 day at Disney to do whatever we missed, 1 day to get ready to leave, 1 day to get there 2 rest days, 1 day of mini golf/mall/stores/CityWalk and 1 day i meet with my mom's friend who lives nearby. A bit long but fun in the long run.

Austin

what if we took off cedar point and indiana beach fromt he trip and make it just this: sfkk, holiday world, and kings island?

I think that would be a pretty nice trip overall.

day 1. meet at sfkk - drive to holiday world - stay at hotel.
day 2. holiday world - stay at hotel
day 3. drive to kings island - stay at hotel
day 4. Kings Island - trip over.

what would you all think about that?

Of course id have to make a special trip just for CP.

I was there in...2008..and i'm seriously already to go back again. I'm hoping to make a return trip next year...we totally need a Disney Parks thread. I am off to make one as of now...;)

as for the revised trip schedule w/o cedar point, its short, and sweet. I think its pretty awesome...and I hope it happens.

Austin
08-05-2009, 11:31 PM
Yea lol i think its a bit easier for me at this point. bc im going to be using like 800 of my bank account for my new computer then like 200 more to just frnish my office, then ill be needing to pay up around 1500-2000 to get my truck all painted (its got 2 deep scratches on the sides and the pinstripe is coming off) But when i get my job tho ill be able to put money back in there so im more able to pay for the trip since i dont usually spend alot of money.

say hi
08-05-2009, 11:34 PM
haha, me either..on the spending money front.

where do you plan on working...SFKK? haha.

Austin
08-05-2009, 11:36 PM
lol probably not

i dont want to be another person they waste money on paying since they have other needs to fill finacially. It will probably be like target or walmart

nitrofan

Haha, you obviously haven't heard what their pay rates are.

say hi
08-05-2009, 11:40 PM
that doesn't sound like a bad idea...the wal mart or target one that is. I had an interview at wal mart once...i got all the orientation papers and they were like YOU GOT THE JOB, and i was like YES! and then i was supposed to get the call for the job orientation date...i never got that call...and then they never returned my call. haha.

Austin
08-05-2009, 11:45 PM
lol the pay rates for sfkk are decent btw michael. its 7.50 or 7.60 a hour. My friend is a T2 ride op and she worked a half week and earned 164 dollars for just 3 days.

nitrofan
08-05-2009, 11:48 PM
^That's not bad, but you could probably make more somewhere else. A few years ago, I knew someone who worked at SFFT and she got paid $5.50 per hour! It's probably more now, but probably still pretty low. It's amazing that that park has such great staff for paying as low as they do.

I know the MODS kind of started it, ok. point and laugh. That's enough, let's get back on topic.

Austin
08-06-2009, 12:03 AM
lol that was before the bush administraion bumped the minimum pay from 5.50 to 7.60 but that bill didnt take effect til this year.

I'm not going to get into this (partly because it would break site rules) but it was not Bush's decision to raise minimum wage.

Im saying that bc it became a law that he signed in his term
