There isn't much info on RCDB, but I think the inverted dueling thing will be a prototype of their new 4-across designs.

Imagine T2, but the higher capacity allows more people to experience the hell ride!

It needs it lol. that line is backed up everytime. Surely they could expand the trains to 4 across.

The problem with T2 is that they can only hold 14 people per train. They can have 28, with the 4-across.
I don't see anything saying it has the 4-across, but I can't believe Universal would build something with that low of capacity.

Here is a model of Battlestar Galatica, the dueling inverted/sit-down coaster. It looks like a really cool ride, and appears to use 4 across seating.

Dueling Dragons has standard B&M trains; 8 rows of 4 across.

lol i never got close enough to it. at the time i went to IOA in 2005 i hadnt started riding big roller coasters like the dragons so i just waited off in the exit. The line moves pretty fast though.

Yeah, high capacity seems to be Universal's specialty. Most of their rides that don't have large trains have dual-loading stations, and Dueling Dragons is definately a line-eater with 4 trains!

I think it's time to bump this thread. Since this thread died, the park has soft-opened and Battle Star Galactica has mysteriously closed. The park is still in a soft-opening.
Does anyone have any updates on what happened to Battle Star? I heard that a seat fell off, but I can't believe that really happened. Vekoma may not make the best rides out there, but they are a reputable manufacturer.
