To help keep track all of our projects going on here is this. It will list every mid-sized project to the major projects and give a description and a status update on the project.

Check back often as this will be updated with the latest information.


Arcade Expansion

Details: Back at 2010 New Year as we looked ahead to the future I envisioned a 400 game arcade. This will help bring a important feature to help keep members on the site by giving them something to do to waste time.
Project Status: We currently have 408. We are aiming at 10 a day.

Park Index Expansion

Details: Also around the new year for 2010 I kicked off our Index that was relatively very small. Once we lost our Kentucky Kingdom focus in favor of Amusement Park Authority I realized 19 parks will not compete with Theme Park Reviews 500 park index and immediately started planning major expansions to the Index as well as new improvements and features.
Project Status: We currently have 318. This phase will finish screamscape and bring us to 342.

Completion Date: Project will ne completed by mid October


Ride Pages

Details: This project was created based on the need to move away from rcdb.com and host our own ride pages. We will feature pictures, and stats when possible.
Project Status: Currently looking for member pictures while the Index expansion is finished.

SWAPA

Wallpapers

Details: Tried to get this going for Amusement Park Authority Online Day 2010 but wasn't able to. This will provide members a place to download wallpapers to use on their own computers.
Project Status: Images are re-sized and uploaded to our server. All we need now is a way to allow members to see the wallpapers and to download them.
Scale: Minor project

New Game

Details: A new game being developed by Nitrofan, Jp, & Changsucks. It will be somewhat similar to Tournament of Thrills.
Project Status: Development was slowed as we allowed Chang to throw us some ideas. They turned out to be very good and we are now moving forward with them

New Spelling/Grammar Rule

Details: One of the sites biggest issues is not having a very tough rule on spelling. This issue has been voiced by members multiple times and we need to fix it.
Project Status: Rule is in draft stage. Once Shayne gives us his version of the rule we can put the final rule together and put it on the rule books.

Improving the Ease of Use of the Forums

Details: To help reduce posting on subjects in the wrong areas or not knowing how to use things in the forums I will be adding a mini description for each forum and updating the FAQ with new articles to help out people that have trouble using the forums and our add-ons. Phase 1 will be the descriptions. Phase 2 will be the FAQ.
Project Status: Phase 1 has been completed. Phase 2 will begin soon.

SWAPA2

Navigation Upgrades

Details: We have nearly ran out of space on our current navigation bar or navbar for short. This would add a second navbar and effectively double our abilities and give us room to grow.
Project Status: Currently in testing. Overall reviews are very positive.

Arcade Expansion end date has been extended 5-7 days to complete the additions. We are now half way to our goal!

I literally almost feel overworked or maybe its because of the procrastination vacation causes when you get back home lol :p

Anyway the new game is nearing the end of development. We most of the details set but the biggest thing it lacks is a name. It is still on track for a Fall release though. I found a radio/tv modification but I need to find a way to make a radio station online. Once thats done then I can begin the radio.

Alright with school started back I decided to get my butt in gear and get this stuff done. Today I am doing 10 arcade games, 10 new park pages, and post my Epcot PTR or at least get most of it written.

Also on the index.. I just found a widespread bug. Currently its only on every International park page and water park page. When you click the link at the bottom to return to the index I forgot to change links and they all use the link to the North American Park Index. So once this phase of parks is added the next phase to be added will be delayed indefinitely while I go through and re-link all the pages to the correct link.

Didn't get everything done that I wanted to but the progress made today has been a welcome improvement.

I got 10 new games added (41 left to add!), and 8 park pages added to the index.

Tomorrow I will have a little more time to do work like 10 new games, and at least 5 parks to let me get my PTR's done.

Well for the intl. index I just go to each page -.- and add intl before the parkindex ont he url link. Also found it was messed up on the Defunct index also. I will probably not do any park pages tomorrow and just focus on fixing the Water Park's and Defunct index's.

At most it should only take me an afternoon uninterrupted to fix it all. The Intl index will be fixed Thursday and Friday as time allows.

Water Park Index is now fixed also. Tomorrow I will focus on getting the Intl. Index repaired. We also just added 9 new games!

Time to begin a PTR!

Great news! The Index's are all fully repaired and fully operational as they should have been. Work on the Index will resume tomorrow afternoon and the 10 new games for today will be added later on tonight.

The Arcade is nearly finished! 388 games, 12 left. This will be completed on Sunday.

Ok were at 398 games, and I had time to do two pages so far. All the new 2010 maps that they listed have been added to their respectful pages also.

Arcade project has been completed! Our next immediate focus is the Index Expansion.

The radio project has also been canceled because it can't be done without buying a radio position on the internet.
