Hey guys thanks to all of you for making the Anniversary event a success! We must have partied so hard we broke the chat though :p but we are looking into a fix or a total replacement. Now onto the news.
Forum Improvements
Over the past few days most of you might have noticed things have been changed around from how they used to be. Most got re-arranged to be in ABC order. Some got new names like Support and Feedback was changed to Suggestion Box, and Introductions and Farewells to Introduce Yourself! The new forum names move them away from the plain naming to a more fun name.
Also on this subject every forum now has a description on it. This can help you all know where to post things and help new members navigate our site easier.
FAQs
In addition to the forum improvements to help you all navigate the site we will be putting our FAQ back online sometime soon and will include new articles about how to use custom areas in the site such as how to post a thread in the trip report forum.
New Project Development
Just so you all aren't completely in the dark on whats going on lately in the staff forums, we just recently made a new forum called the Idea/Concept Development Center or ICDC for short. This section will help us develop new ideas and concepts easier and let us get these new features out to you guys. We also might post a public version of the APA Project Tracker that we are using to keep a centralized thread to let staff see the latest progress on projects. The tracker lists all projects going on, a description, a estimated time table for completion and if its a major or minor project.
Spelling/Grammar Rule
We are just about ready to finalize the wording of it and when we do we will post an update. We are only waiting to see Shayne's version and then we will merge mine with his and finalize it.
Arcade
I am aiming at 400 as our minimum goal in terms of games. But I'm looking at stopping at 420-425. At that point I will try to do 5 games a day. I'm working my way down the alphabet and I'm adding games to S.
Index Expansion
Ive broke ground on this next section of parks. This will bring us to 358. Its a 56 park addition to the Intl. Index bringing all of the parks Screamscape lists to our index's. After this is finished we will focus on getting the rest of the Intl. parks that TPR has that we don't have to get us to 500. I project this addition to be completed by late this month. They will feature RCDB linked rides but remember our own ride pages are on the way.
Austin's WDW Xpedition
I finally got to do part two: Disney's Hollywood Studios yesterday. Part 3: Epcot and Part 4: Magic Kingdom and Part 5 Driving and Dining will be out soon. Sorry for the wait on this one, I went to the lake for five days to spend time with the family so it kind of derailed some plans.
