Canada's Wonderland 7/30 & 7/31

Ah, Canada eh?

So Canada's Wonderland is kinda a crappy park, actually it's a really crappy park, one of the worst I've been to, like some people might think oh it's pretty blah blah, but I go to Amusement parks for thrill rides, not themeing bullcrap, so Canada's Wonderland is terrible for the fact that EVERY SINGLE RIDE (besides Behemoth) IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Canadians might be fooled, but I certainly am not!

This place is clearly on a mission to give as many people as possible headaches and bone alignments! I don't know who runs this joint but they need to be fired. If I was a billionaire I would buy this place, then tear out everything but behemoth and put in rides that are actually worth riding, everything here was a waste of time.

See that's why I hate Cedar Fair and love Six Flags, CF parks have like one standout ride and then the rest are just cheap crappy rough boring rides that aren't even the least bit fun. Six Flags at least isn't afraid to build B&M's and rides that are actually smooth for the most part.

Anyway... BEHEMOTH! This ride is absolutely amazing, I love B&M because everything they do is just awesome. Behemoth gives you so much freaking airtime and is just smooth as glass, there's not a dull moment. This and Diamondback are very close comparisons as they both have that ballstothewall airtime moment that I love so much in a B&M hyper coaster. I think I have to give Behemoth the edge over Diamondback (Can't believe I'm saying that, as some might know how crazy in love I am with Diamondback) Behemoth just has more airtime and a better layout and that's just that. It's currently my favorite B&M and third favorite rollercoaster. The Behemoth crew was doing an amazing job and they were awesome.

Crowds were pretty bad, but we managed to get all the credits and ride behemoth 9 times, as well as go to the waterpark for half of the second day in the park.

The waterpark is pretty meh, Hurricane Harbor at SFGAm is so much better. But hey we pretty much came for Behemoth and Behemoth only, the rest of the park can kiss my ass.

Oh and there food prices were ridiculous, $10 for a funnel cake my ass.

ok this is the same exact ride as flight deck at Kings Island which I love, but for some reason this one just sucked, it was jerky and uncomfortable, not to mention there was no padding on the seats. I was extremely disappointed because usually Arrow suspended coasters are awesome and intense

ok, confession not all the rides sucked. Backlot Stunt Coaster is quick zippy and fun, but it didn't have the fire effect like the one at Kings Island.

Hmm, Canada's Wonderland never really sounded that bad to me until you explained it. I guess CW needed Behemoth and will hopefully get the 2011 rumored coaster.

I partly agree with that. See at least Kings Island has like Flight of Fear and Firehawk going for it. Canada's Wonderland literally has NOTHING besides Behemoth.

Before I start telling you about my nutty review I give you another thumbs up on a perfect trip report, now on to the insanity, I've never been to CW but it seem's like a crappy watered down version of my beloved King's Island. KI has FD,Racer,Beast,FOF,FH,DB, and Invertigo to top it off! CW has Behemoth...

Yeah, Also CW's kids area was so confusing and spread out I didn't like it. The one at KI is much better, although I hate having to ride like 4 kids credits

Well how does that benefit us? :p Technically a park like Legoland should win that award... It's just that it's an entire park instead of an area. I agree with nitrofan, the park has something for everyone, there's a lot of rides, good variety, etc., but once you ride Diamondback, Beast, and the debatable Flight of Fear and Vortex (oh and Drop Tower!), just leave before you end up in First Aid (I know from experience).

This topic reminds me why I hate Canada. They make people like Drake, Justin Bieber, Sidney Crosby (which are people that nobody likes). Their bacon isn't bacon, it's ham. It's too cold up there. They only produce one...scratch that two great things, hockey players and maple syrup. Plus, there's even a song about how bad Canada is:

Personally, I have no beef, or problems with CW gathering I haven't been there. But from what I've seen through this TR, the park might look nice, but the ride isn't the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe Canada isn't the great land every one says it is after all.....
