Darien Lake 7/10/10

I did not really do much today due to the fact I did not get to the park until 3pm and we only stayed to 9pm. Oh and the fact there was like a million people at the park! Mostly in the water park which I completely skipped

Ride count for the day-
Boomerang-0 Big line would of went on if we had more time.
Mind Eraser- 1
MotoCoaster- 0 too long of a line even my sis decided to skip it
Predator-2 line died out by 6pm but was a station full with 2 trains
Ride of Steel- 1 1hr wait with one train. Red train being renovated/fixed
Viper- 2 first time 15min wait 2nd time 10min wait

98pxy (my local radio station) held a party today in the water park lines as far as the eye could see... and then farther than that!

View of the new Swirl City (water slides) and partially Lazy Days Lagoon (new lazy river) I like swirl city a lot even though its only about 50ft tall its turbo twins are very fast and cannon ball run and Mr. twister are very thrilling!

Predator with its new trains from Holiday World! btw they are very comfortable and more padded then the old ones.

Yeah so this has been going on since the new trains came here but the front car is not unlocking automatically... they have to do it manually which is no big deal but gets annoying when they hesitate to actually do it...

Ahh the mist is back! now let's see a new coat of paint on this for 2011! every other coaster got something (besides moto since its only 2 years old) even ros got part of itself painted!

Great Pictures.

Just to added there are many "New" things being offered at the park this year such as Cashless Wristbands and Rapid Ride Passes. And lets not forget Many New Shows.

You should go sometimes! It is a great park and i think the water park is one of the bests i have been to! The only thing missing is a giant slide that goes directly down..

Cool TR! It looks like some great things have happened at DL in the past few years. Swirl City looks like a lot of fun, I want to get on a Tantrum some time.

It has changed since SF left (in a good way) The first year or so was a bit questioning but then PARC Management got it together and the park has been running great! I have not seen the park this popular ever in my life! (well maybe in 1999 when SuperMan Ride of Steel a.k.a. Ride of Steel was built) but i was not there and paying attention till about 2004 when i got a season pass and went there more often. The park is doing great overall...
