And why does Le Monstre have to be on there this year again? Everyone knows what the BS was last year with it. it better go up against Kingda Ka or Tatsu or Bizarro (assuming that's SFNE) because us at GADV, the people in Cali and the New England people won't back down on their main coasters. And no El Toro? (sorry, I sound like "sour grapes" but El Toro is clearly better than most if not all coasters here).

Nevermind: Those are just logos. You make you're own bracket to predict who is going to win. I have it to be X2 against Bizarro @ SFNE. But i know GAdv people are going to knock Bizarro out in the first round because Bizarro is against El Toro in the first round. This is going to be close.

I just did my own bracket, mine became against X2 (west) and Bizzaro (East) also. The runner ups were Goliath SFFT (west) and Superman: Ride of Steel (East).

Voting will start for Tournament of Thrills 2 will start monday. It seems fun..

I'm just shocked. Yet, I'd believe Bizarro, maybe X2, would beat El Toro. I think El Toro doesn't like the ToT. The first one it lost to freakin' Le Monstre, which doesn't even deserve to be in there at all. The second one, it lost first round. I didn't do a bracket, nor have I seen the bracket, so my fingers are crossed to hope that Nitro is in this, or Kingda Ka. I'd root for them. Other wise, i guess Bizarro all the way.

Out of curiosity, do you have the Le Monstre credit? What did you think about it? When I rode it this year I actually ended up finding it quite enjoyable. Not air time filled or anything special, but just something about it made it a higher than normal ranked woodie for me.

No I was just judging it on what I heard and what I've seen. I guess I shouldn't do that. Plus everyone's still clueless on how it beat X2 in the finals last year lol.

Yeah, there was no reason is should have beat X2 at all. The ride was fairly smooth for a wooden coaster, had a few good pops of air, but also had an impressive to watch and ride structure. I gave it second best in the park, not too far behind their Goliath.

It's not like the SF facebook can control this competition. It's really not a bad thing, all it's doing is giving La Ronde, "that little park in Canada", some recognition. And Bizarro is consistently ranked #1 in seperate and more accurate polls, so SF has every right to call it the best coaster in the world.

Yes david Le Monstre is awesome, although I'm sure there are TONS of people who think it sucks, to me it's like the beast. rough boring hurts a little but there is just something about it that you have to love, Le Monstre has some airtime though, beast has none.

I'm happy that Le Monstre beat Bizarro and I voted for Le Monstre over Bizarro because in my opinion Bizarro is an overrated hunk of junk! I don't know what people see in that ride. Sure it's fun but its definitely not the number one coaster in the world
