Time for the first of the June news updates. Not too much to cover but heres some of the newsworthy pieces:
DCA:
Silly Symphony Swings has reopened. I have to say this is a hell of a lot better then a giant Orange Peel. Greatly themed and alot better then my expectations
World of Color: Is in previews at the moment and opens this weekend. From what I see its a amazing show.
Wine Country Trattoria: Work is finishing up and will open this weekend
Dorney Park:
Demon Drop has been completed and the cars are being put on as we speak. It should be open by the end of this month
Universal:
Wizzarding World of Harry Potter: This area has been opened finally. It looks fantastic. But with HP 7 coming out this fall, isnt it a bit too late to start something like this with popularity expected to die off shortly after #7?
APA:
Park Index's: Ground was broken today on the newest index. It will not be 100% complete for some time but it will be a nice addition. We also have an official count of 152 parks in the total index. Equal to roughly 30.4% of TPR. We are hoping that by July we can get up to around 35% or 40%. Considering we started the expansion at 29 parks, we have come a long way.
