As you all know we have been in the process of re-naming the site and giving it a new look and theme to go with it. Well I am proud to announce that today, June 1st, we are officially launching our new name, look and theme. We have been implementing the changes slowly over time so there shouldn't be a lot of problems with the launch. To begin here is a list of changes you will find:
Skins: We have two new official skins. Both use the same banners except one has a glare on the badge and the other doesn't. These skins are 10x better than the previous default skins we have been using. These are mostly gradient based and they are really easy on the eye and simple.
Staff Colors: To avoid problems with recognizing staff, we have given our moderators a new green colored user name so that the old blue would not blend into the background.
URL's: Every link I could possibly edit was changed. They now point to the domain we bought 4 months ago (www.amusementparkauthority.com) and I have spent all day Memorial Day swapping links all over the site. You might run across a link that points to sfkkonline.com but it shouldn't cause much a problem.
Park Index: As I was going page by page changing URL's, I fixed a few pages and updated the information on each. I also moved all the parks from Canada and Mexico into their own little Index to get the International Park Index going. In addition to that, 2 pages were added to the Water Park Index, and 7 were added to the Park Index for the US. If my figures are correct we now have 145 pages in all.
Post Indicator Images: These were swapped out from the Six Flags logo to a new APA Badge. The gray badge(below) indicates no new posts and the gold badge indicates new posts.

Favicon: This has been swapped for the gray post indicator image.
VB Experience: We have upgraded from 3.4.8 to 3.8.5. It adds more functionality and ways to get points. Also checked all other products we are running.
All In all this is a great time for APA and its members. Now that we have our new theme and name we can begin to move forward and grow. My first goal is heavy advertising using our ad credits and getting the Park Index's up to at leas 200 pages total (55 more).
I would like to take this time to thank our Graphic Artist Nick from SFATW. Without him we wouldn't be able to do this today. He has worked all month on the project and its all come together. Of course I also have to thank our staff here at APA for their input and help in the change.
In the coming weeks and months you should see some new things happening also.
We encourage our members to advertise APA on other sites using these predesigned signatures.
