Kings Island 5/1 & 5/2 2010

So, this weekend we went back to Kings Island, because lets face it, me and my precious Diamondback cannot stay separated for long!!

Both days were pretty cloudy and had low crowds, On Sunday we did the early entry thing because we have Platinum Passes, They didn't open Diamondback until 9:41 so we only got 5 rides in before they let the public in and they flooded the station :/ (Diamondback is NOT fun in the rain, wayyy too painful, but you gotta take a little pain for pleasure ;))

Diamondback seemed like 100% better then it was back in October, It used to be awesome, now it's like a fricken god rising above Kings Island that you just cant get enough of!! We rode Diamondback 20 times this weekend!

I'm now completely positive that Diamondback's ballstothewall airtime can rival El freaking Toro's airtime, not even a joke, I might even prefer Diamondbacks airtime, it's just that good, get off your computer right now, go to Kings Island and ride Diamondback in either the front of the second row! You'll be amazed ;) (In my opinion row 2 gives the best airtime on Diamondback, I dont know why, It's just like that) plus in the back 2 rows you get this nasty rattle/vibration that's pretty vicious, particularly when your at the bottom of both ends of the hammerhead turnaround.

Vortex sucks, just like it did last year

Racer is really really really fun, I have a thing for woodies that are built like this ride.

Flight of Fear surprised me this year, because last year I thought it was horrible, rough, and had bad pacing, but this year holy hell, It was running fast, smooth, and super intense.. I was sitting there trying to speculate if this was really the same ride I rode back in October?!

Beast Is Awesome At Night Period.

We Marathoned Drop Tower for about an hour, I have a thing for drop towers :)

Anyway, Diamondback "Eats Millennium Force and CRAPS IT ALL OVER CEDAR POINT!!!" hehehe :)

Kings Island is the best Cedar Fair park, go there and fall in love with it.

Great pictures, Kings Island is a beautiful park, but I just found every one of its coasters to be disappointing (including Diamondback, which I didn't feel any air-time on other than the first drop...)

Awesome pics :D I went to KI last year and I was addicted to Diamondback before i even rode it :D My parents bought me a diamondback shirt and a solar Diamondback key chain... which sadly broke when I was on the cruise (spring break 2010). I have everything but the solar part :(. Do you think they will take it back and send a new one? lol, or would i have to completely buy a new one?

I haven't tried before, but your best bet would be Guest Relations, but I doubt they would replace it.

Maybe Diamondback has mood swings like Intimidator. Lots of people said it was amazing, but I thought it was boring.

^ I think all B&M Hypers do. They probably get the most mixed reviews out of any other coaster type.
