Iv'e noticed a lot of things this year. I have seen employees get more interactive with guest much the same way Cedar Fair ops do. They are helpful and always greet you with a "Hey!". Iv'e noticed new paint on a few signs here and there along with some many buildings. All the games and restaurants open now making the park look a lot less dead...So what are the small or big new things you have noticed about SFKK in 2009?

The concert series.
The most prominent thing I have noticed is, "Have a Six Flags day!"

That stuff gets annoying. They say it over and over and over. But its not worse then the have a happy 45th anniversary spiel they said.
I sware... when i was at Six Flags St. Louis opening weekend i was tempted to strangle the next person who said have a six flags day. Stupidest line EVER?

What annoys me is when they tell you something bad, like a ride being closed, and they tell you to have a Six Flags Day. I e-mailed SFGAdv asking when Kingda Ka would re-open and they told me to Have A Six Flags Day in the e-mail.

Part of the queue line for the kiddie train is from Vampire (the concrete).
Its on there under JOYLAND AMUSEMENT PARK (Lubbock, TX). Go down then you should find it.

They named ours the same because it was easier and cheaper to market. Thats why alot of Six Flags coasters have the same name. They can use the same merchendise for them among other things. Iv'e always wanted to re-paint Greezed and theme it to the superhero Flash lol.

Greezed Lightnin' came to SFKK in 2003. It was formely at SFOG named Viper, but was removed to make room for Superman: Ultimate Flight. SFAW closed in 2005, so it had nothing to do with paying tribute to Astroworld. It was probably named after Greezed Lightnin' at SFAW, but not as a tribute.
