Ah, The Mall of America, The main reason of are trip was for Valleyfair, but we decided to stop here too for a few hours to get some credits and so I could experience a Euro Fighter ;) ..... I'm just now making this PTR even though I visited 9 months ago...

Anyway from what I remember this place was pretty darn fun for being in a mall and all... There was actually a ton of things to do and if I wasn't thinking about how it was in a mall, I could have easily forgot that there was a roof over this place, They even have fake trees placed accordingly. There wasn't very many people in the park so there was no lines or anything or that nature, just walk ride up and get on the ride.

The Sponge Bob Euro Fighter was very impressive for being squeezed into such a tight space, I really really enjoyed it. I do remember being taken by surprise by the drop's angle of decent, and how smooth and extremely quite this ride it.

The Intamin half pipe ride was also pretty intense and a fun experience, although it was broken pretty much the entire time we were there, we did actually get to ride twice, something was wrong with the ride where only one side spinned, so we got to experience both sides... the spinning one was much better!

Nothing else really to mention, except this bizarre really fun flat ride that I'll put a picture of below... Oh yeah, also there mini drop tower was super fun and gave lots and lots of airtime!

On to the pictures!

Southwest is my favorite airline and it's extremely convenient when your flying out of Chicago, we just took a 1 hour flight for $49 round trip instead of driving 7 hours.... much better Idea! My dad seriously woke up in the morning and was like you know what, I feel like going to Minneapolis today, so 3 hours later we were on a plane! I love my random trips!

This was the one "bad part" though because it went slow through the zero g and it was a bit painful resting on the restraints, the rest was good though!

You have to scan your wristband every time you get on a ride

Plus almost all the targets didn't work so these were our final scores.... haha yeah....

http://amusementparkauthority.com/forums/trip_reports/bobbinbop20/nu_7_10_2009/100_3916.jpg
Then we go lost and couldn't figure out how to get out of the parking garage to get to the hotel across the street.... were just that good.

Overall, good time at the mall of america, at this time in my life I had 69 credits ;)... until the next day when we went to Valleyfair!

THE END!!

Nice. So how was the Avatar ride? Thats one of only two Half Pipe coasters in North America. They look nice and cheap so im surprised no one has built others yet.

It probably has something to do with maintnance and capacity.
