Well, since April Fools Day is over, this was a prank incase you haven't caught on yet. (I think most people did).

NEW DECADE THRILLS AT FIESTA TEXAS.....

Fiesta Texas is continuing its multi-million dollar expansion with exciting additions for the new decade. Topping the charts is THE EDGE, the only Dive Machine coaster in the South.

If 4,025 feet of steel sounds tempting, then you are ready to experience the Edge coaster based on a park legend that has been around since our opening in 1992. Combining the traditional roller coaster technology (train rides on top of the tracks) and a unique train design, Bollinger & Mabillard of Switzerland have designed an exquisite thrill ride. Each row seats eight passengers across on open-air, pedestal-like seats with shoulder harnesses and nothing around them. Unusually, riders feet dangle above the track which creates the sensation of a flying chair.

The Edge coaster will initially take you up a 200-foot lift hill (nearly 20 stories) and in an instant you will plummet at the rate of 70 mph as you careen alongside and dramatically supercede the quarry walls twice for 2 separate vertical drops. When the thrills begin, you will burst through an overwhelmingly large 150-foot immelman inversion, leading into a 120-foot second vertical drop and followed by an intenseline of air-time hills, creating a sensation that coaster enthusiasts love. You will experience a sharp turn and a splashdown area that slows the coaster down in a magnificent way, creating the perfect landscape before finally arriving back in the station. The Edge coaster will last three minutes and twenty seconds, three times as long as the average coaster. Setting new standards at Fiesta Texas! You will not soon forget this ride!

The Edge will inevitably be a fabulous addition to the already diverse and spectacular coaster line-up at Fiesta Texas including the already popular floorless SUPERMAN, LIM-accelerated POLTERGEIST, forward-and-backward BOOMERANG, classic wooden RATTLER and ROAD RUNNER EXPRESS coasters. Consisting of three 24-passenger trains, the Edge will have the ability to accommodate 1,600 passengers per hour, which defines it as the highest capacity ride in the park. Coming Spring 2011, the the Edge coaster will represent a capital investment of more than POLTERGEIST, BOOMERANG and SCREAM combined at Fiesta Texas.

Wow, I can't believe this! No rumors were out or anything. Although, I always thought that the cliffs at SFFT were perfect for a ride like this. I guess Six Flags is trying to start the 50th Anniversary Hype early.

Really? Six Flags is already in so much debt, they can't afford this.

Haha, wow... That was an edited version of SFFT's Press Release for Superman and SFFT spelled Bolliger wrong in their official press release! Here's a link to SFFT's official press release: http://rcdb.com/605.htm?dt=126&d=35

And for anyone who hasn't caught on yet, this was an April Fools prank.
