The park index page is updated with the names of the next wave pf parks im adding (they aren't linked) These will almost double the amount we currently have. So far we have 31 parks but after this wave we will have added 29 new parks to bring us up to 60 parks total.
So if you all could check those and post the trip reports you all have for them but if you don't its ok, im just going to go ahead and build them all up ahead of time so its less of a pain to build them all on a moments notice or have them put off.
I picked these 29 parks from the list of smaller parks and major parks on screamscape. Only picked the ones that stood out to me but I plan on getting all the major parks and minor parks in by the end of spring. Waterparks will follow the completion of the theme parks. All of this will help make ours one of the premier index's on the web and make us a true competitor to those websites. Six Flags Fan Call
With that out of the way as some of you all saw, APA is being represented in Six Flags Fan Call. More details here: http://sfkkonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=489. We will be represented by Shayne and possibly Nitro.
Temporary Closing
I have put this task off long enough but we need to get Shayne trained as a administrator but doing so will require the site to be closed to conduct it. We are aiming for this week or next. We will try and get this over with as quick as possible so the site can get back up and running soon.
Trip Reports
After putting these off for so long also, I will be resuming trip report conversion from photobucket accounts to our servers. Thankfully I found a Firefox extension that allows me to download all images on a page so it will be pretty easy.
While on the topic of trip reports, APA is looking for more trip reports. Just a reminder, anyone who submits a TR will get it added to the parks page that we have in the index, or if we don't have the park yet it will be placed in the to-do list.
New Domain
We did buy the domain but the host didn't make it clear it could only be used to re-direct people to this domain and we are looking at how we can get that fixed but it might not be possible until July.
Closing Notes
Oh yeah, I'll be posting my mock draft this week. So far I'm up to pick 18 and will release it as first round only and then expand it to second round. Anything past rounds 1 and 2 are too hard to pick.
