Focus Update

At this time I have decided to move forward and have dropped the following from consideration as our new focus:

Kings Island
Cedar Fair

You might be asking about HW so im just saying its not out of possibility but its become highly unlikely at this point since we can cover it on a type of site i described above and the fact that the Koch's do not like fan-sites very much.

Naming

At this point I would like everyone to brainstorm some name ideas and post them here. In 1-4 days we will select the top 10 names, put them in a poll and have a vote on them. While that doesnt necessarily mean its going to get chosen if it gets the most votes it gives it a bit of a higher standing.

The guidelines that can make or break the name include:

Easy to remember
Catchy
Not very long

I believe until we get down into preparation we will stay on sfkkonline.com as our domain and then near the end move to a new domain.

Thanks for helping guys.

Actually im changing my mind again. Forget the emphasis, its just a general theme now. Easier to do and less confusing.

If we are doing the three state one (Indianna, Ohio, and Kentucky). I would like to call it "Oinky". O-In-Ky. If the General park site, "Theme Park Enthusiasts". Those are my two choices.

We can go all-out Cedar Fair on the name and name it Amusement Park Site

If we are just KKO right now, you should probably get rid of the Six Flags icons on the left of the forum.

For Cedar Fair: CFOnline.com, CFair.com, CedarOnline, CedarForums.com

For King's Island: Kingscoasters.com, TheIslandOfThrills.com, KIOnline.com

I would nitro but for it being a temporary name until we get a permanent future it would be a long adventure into re-doing all graphics for such a short period of time (i hope).

Got a offer to help another site but idk right now.

Depending on how the new proposal from another site goes we might have a new future. So far i believe the staff like it generally just need to see about details and where negotiations end up once the staff the site talk about it.

How about Coaster Lovers?
Coaster Addicts?
Coaster Funatics?

Maybe we should do a general Midwest focus and then get permission from Westcoaster if needed so we can call ourselves Midwestcoaster.

Hmm.. If this new proposal is done we might already have a name depending on the negotiations with the people involved but most likely will concede the name unless we agree to change the name or if its unavailable. But ill keep this running in case we need ideas if we do go for a new name if the deal is worked out.
