This is where I see the future of Kentucky Kingdom Online: Alive and growing.

I spent about 3 hours plotting out and thinking of all if not most of the possibilities so ill post them here:

Emergency Plan - Kentucky Kingdom Online

For the time being Kentucky Kingdom Online will remain unchanged but operate on a cautionary level - meaning anything could happen.\

If new deal:

Six Flags will Return
No changes to the site
Easiest plan of action for Kentucky Kingdom Online. I estimate a 60% chance of having to use this one.

No deal but Ed Hart buys the park:

Ed hart is back in control
domain change is probable
slight changes to the site
Manageable plan and I estimate a 30% chance of having to use this one

Someone else buys the park/Cedar Fair buys park. (originally this was 2 separate plans but entailed the same things):

Domain Change
Major Changes
Hardest plan to implement with an estimation of 10%

Kentucky Kingdom Online will not close.
All Plans are on hold for Kentucky Kingdom Online at this point.
Site remains Kentucky Kingdom Online until a new deal is reached or someone buys the park.
Possible Changes:
General theme park fansite
Holiday World Fansite
Kings Island Fansite
Dolly wood fansite
Disney fansite
Beechbend
Indiana Beech
Cedar Fair
or Six flags

For me personally I have taken the following steps to get the site back on track and in the right direction:

All A&S plans are postponed (This is a start up RCT and NL design team with me and one of the founders of sfatw. Dont expect very many creations this weekend)
No video games
All site plans are postponed

This is not a final plan. Rather an outline with some key points that wont change. What we want to is whats your take on this plan and do you have any changes or additions we should consider?

Why aren't you playing video games anymore?

Because im focuins on this problem right now. Once the site has a plan for the future ill go back to the normal stuff i do. The site is more important right now.

I say keep it the way it is, then change it to another park!!

I think it would be a great idea to change the site to Holiday World (unless SFKK stays and a change isn't neccessary). Unless I'm mistaken, this would be the first Holiday World Fansite and would probably get tons of new members because everyone loves Holiday World, including me!

I'm going to be posting a new thread on working on a permanent plan for the future and this time you all get to help.

Its going to take a day or two to get the whole plan in full swing development so im starting this now.

Tomorrows poll will be over the new site focus/theme. We want you to look at it without Kentucky Kingdom in mind because it may be best to move to a park with more park security, where you know it wont close unless something big happens. Like kings island. I had in mind a mid west theme park fan site or a east coast fan site but it doesnt really matter at this point until we consider all the options.

The next one will most likely deal with what to do with all the stuff we created for the park once we move forward to a new focus/theme.

The following poll after that will revolve around staff or something else that i think of.

I really want version 2.0 of our community to be the best. To be the best we need more planning ahead of time. I think tomorrow we will also post a list of postponed additions to the site also so you can get an idea of how hard it hit the site in terms of new features.

If Six Flags Closes for good, I would rather have this site turn into a Holiday World Fansite. I'll stay no matter what happens (Unless you close the site). I have never been to Holiday World, but I will ask my friends and family to go with me.

It would be hard to do one though. They reallly hate fansites with a passion. We are possibly looking to team up with another site and form one website. Still discussing it internally. Once thats done we are going to discuss it with the other site and then ge the proposal posted publicly.

I have a feeling I know what site it is!

Lol I just went through the pros/cons and the next steps as well as my own opinion on such a move today so this will help advance the plan to see what we want to do.

We are taking a serious look at this proposal and I think its a very fair offer also.
