Post basically your entire opinion of the park. The atmosphere, the rides, everything. Rank it, rate it, etc. Obviously there are some improvements that need to be made, but that's for another topic. Just share what you think about the park here.
I love it. That is all. :)

Lol he wanted to know how you liked the park.
I think its a great park. Its a small park almost like a family owned park like beech bend. Its just unique because its not like Magic Mountain or GADV where they try to impress you it seems with their coaster selection. Its a peaceful enviroment with fun rides, a great waterpark and everyone's nice. While it needs some work but its still a great park without chang.
Those who complain saying they wont come back are full of it. You'll see them buying passes and they'll be there as often as they usually were there. Just taking a minute to state this; if all your going to do is complain and nag about chang, 5 months after its gone then whats the point? If you say your not coming back fine dont keep bringing chang up. Just give Bonzai Beach a chance and the park for that matter. I mean we could get more than Bonzai Beach in 2011.

My opinion:
Rides: 6/10
I have to say that the past few years have changed my impression of the rides in the park with all the losses, but all wasn't bad. However, the park really isn't the same without Hellavator, Chang, and MHF. I would love to include Twisted Sisters, but I don't think it defined the park. I really miss Rainbow too. I have liked what they've done improving many of the rides since Shapiro took over. Rides like Breakdance have recieved some much needed TLC, and all signs point to continuing that trend as time goes on with all the work being done around Six Flags to improve rides at a never heard of pace in the company. I do think without Chang you don't have that defining steel coaster, and that hurts. T2 needs some lovin' to even think about stealing the title back.
Safety: 9/10
I think they do an excellent job with Safety as Kentucky Kingdom. From ride maintenance to First Aid they do an excellent job. First Aid even helped me out last year, and believe me it was pretty serious. The only reason they don't get a 10/10 is because they are hampered by the state, and I don't believe the state knows what the hell its doing.
Shows: 8/10
The shows Kentucky Kingdom has are pretty great. They do an excellent job of getting kids and there parents involved. The costume characters are awesome, especially at the front gate, and Mr. Six is BELIEVABLE. The parade is pretty cool as well, although I wish there was more too it compared to other parks. The park gets point taken off because once again they aren't what they where in this area. While the quality of the product has reason, the quantity has greatly declined with many of the old shows disappearing. It's not hard to understand why, with Northwest Terrirtory being closed they had to cut the shows back there. That being said, the new concerts have been AWESOME. I do wish they'd have more rock and that type of stuff though, and I wasn't a fan of Raven last year, and I don't think Six Flags was either.
Water Park: 9/10
I would put Kentucky Kingdom's water park above all the regional parks, and that includes Holiday World. To me, Holiday World is great at one thing: Slides. Outside of that everything else pretty much pales in comparison to the quality and variety of attractions that Kentucky Kingdom has. There is just so many awesome aspects of Splashwater Kingdom, and it's all close together and easy to access. The Lifeguards are awesome, and the water park was really clean last year.
Environment/Atmosphere: 7/10
I somewhat expect this to fall to an 6 this year with the removal of Chang just bringing people down, but Kentucky Kingdom was a fun place last year. It was SUPER clean, the employees where awesome, and the music was pretty good. The only problem Kentucky Kingdom faces is the fact that the attractions and buildings still need some major TLC. If the buildings and rides were a little less run down it would go a long way to making the park feel more fun. I really hope they fix the Wheel's lights and paint it. The park could easily kick it up a notch this year by just HYPING the water park expansion. If they dwell on Chang's removal, and allow guests to do the same it will really dampen the mood of the park.
Overall: 7/10
The park is unique and does a lot well based on their limitations. In order to overcome it's short comings for the 2011 season Six Flags really needs to hit it out of the park with its 50th Anniversary celebration. First of all, many of the rides need lots of TLC. I'd start with Bounty, Enterprise, and the Giant Wheel. Then the park needs to better enhance the theme of it's areas. Easy way to start this is by re-opening Northwest Territory. Bring it back re-themed, re-energized, and re-built. You combine that with the Bonzai Beach and it will go a long way in kind of glossing over the other deficiencies in the park's themed areas until the 2012 season.

I went to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom for the first (and only, so far) time on June 21st, 2009 (just happened to be Father's Day).
My day:
I was only at the park for maybe 6 hours. I went to Kings Island for a couple hours in in the morning, then drove to the park and got there sometime around noon. I was going to visit the waterpark, so the first thing I did was go to the lockers to put my bathing suit/towels in there.
The lockers were gross. Some had rust on them and the area surrounding them was not very nice. After that I headed to my first ride, Roadrunner Express.
It's a Wild Mouse; not much to say. Good family coaster, decent ride, about a 5 minute wait.
Then I headed to Greezed Lightnin'. A walk on. Really fun ride, my favorite coaster in the park. The trims in the station were disappointing and the ride wasn't as intense as Montezooma's Revenge at KBF, but still an enjoyable classic.
Then it was over to Chang, where things went down hill. The line started just a little below the station. What should have been a very short wait, especially for a B&M coaster, turned into a 30 minute wait. It took forever to see another train go through the course, and I saw the terrible operations for myself when I finally got to the station. The ride was running one train, and even after the long ride, when the ride got to the station operator's weren't ready. They were all lazy, slow, and obviously could care less about their jobs.
Chang wasn't much. I hate standing up on coasters, so it isn't just Chang (I don't like Riddler's Revenge, Vortex at CGA, or Mantis either). Good layout but just very uncomfortable. Whether I liked it or not, though, I could definitely see that it was the signature attraction of the park, and I'm not sure how the place will do without it.
I think it was off to the Big Wheel next. The wheel wasn't even running half of its cars; ridiculous. I got on, it was good. I really like big ferris wheels at parks, but not running even half of the cars just ruins the point.
I think I went to the waterpark now. So far, the day hadn't been very enjoyable. It was extremely hot and humid and I was disappointed with the park. I had heard some bad things about it, but I walked in with a completely open mind and was hoping to find the place very underrated. So far I guess I was wrong...
While in the waterpark I rode Tornado and Deluge. Both were a lot of fun, especially Deluge which is my current favorite waterslide. Not sure if it was worth the 1h+ wait though. I was very impressed with the water park for the short time I was there, but I was tired and just wanted to get the rest of the credits.
Once out of the waterpark, I got Roller Skater out of the way. Eh, kiddie credit.
Then I went over to Thunder Run. Luckily I only had to wait a couple trains for this one, but still, only running one train...
It was a fun ride. The first hill gave some sweet air, the rest giving nice floating moments. The ride was rough but not unbearable.
Finally it was off to my last credit in the park, T2. I was NOT looking forward to this one. I had ridden Kong at SFDK twice before, and it was not fun. I had heard T2 was even worse...
I won't go into the entire ride, but it was basically torture. It did manage to make my Top 126 (out of 127) coasters, though. Once again, one train operation and slow disapatches.
Since it was right there and I had heard good things, I took a ride on Penguin's Blizzard River. I was expecting a long wait but since it was the evening I only had to wait a few rafts.
It was pretty good. Best theming in the park and some nice effects, it was just extremely slow (the rafts crawled through the rapids).
I took one last lap around the park to take pictures/film (here's my album: http://sfkkonline.com/forums/album.php?albumid=22 [still adding some pictures]) and then I was out of the park.
The park had its moments; some fun rides, some friendly staff and it wasn't your typical concrete-n-coasters CF park which was good. I would hate to see this park go and I'd love to give it a second chance (though I don't know when that will be) but for now it ranks fairly low on my park list. It just can't really compare to other great parks I've been to.
I hope within the next few years the park is cleaned up a bit and some small but important improvements are made. I would love to see this park really build its reputation back up and get some good new rides, because it really does have a lot of potential.
Yeah, that was more of a trip report than an opinion. Just wanted to list my entire experience with the park.

I went to SFKK on a school trip in 2008, I'll try to sum it up to the best of my ability.
Overall: 7
Rides:7
Operations:6
Food:5
Water Park:9
Environment:7
May 16th,2008. Our trip left our school at 7:15 am, and we got to the park around 9:30. After some weird safety stuff (Buddy System), we got into the park around 10:00. My first stop: incredible eatables, I was starved. I got Nachos, they were good but it took forever to fix them (one of the reasons for the 6). We took the Loooonnnggg wlak over the bridge and went to Chang for our first ride, since we were some of the first there (BTW their were other schools too, many other schools) it only took about a 10 min. wait. Chang was amazing, way better than Mantis. we then continued our trek to T2, but in all common sense (bad ride, and line was out to the walkway) we bailed and rode deluge, which was the only water ride (besides Penguin's Blizzard River) that was open. It was fun, easily an 8 or 9. We passed by Blizzard River (really was too cold to ride Deluge, let alone Blizzard River) and took another Loooonnnnggg walk to Thunder Run. It was Good, about an 8, it had really good airtime, but was not smooth in areas. It was about 12:30 at this point so we decided to eat. We first though Papa John's in Belgian Village. The line was out the door, so we wanted to go to kingdom subs, wasn't even open. So we thought the old hickory place by Greezed lightnin sounded good. It wasn't even opened too. So our final stop was Papa Johns by the Main Entrance. And the reason I didn't give food a 3 was because the pizza was really good, pricey but good. We then split up (we were in a group of 4), half rode the skycoaster, me and my friend (austin if you have to know) rode Bluebeard's Bounty Ship. I've only been on about 5 or 6 pirate ship but this was about 2nd in my opinion because the ride ops ran it in cycles of about 3 minutes, the ride lasted forever,(in a good way).
We then reunited and rode RoadRunner Express. There was only about 25-30 people in line in front of us, but the line took 30 min., 1 person per minute is horrible operations even for a wild mouse. It was a typical wild mouse, the Theming was pretty good though, so I'll give it a 6. We then continued to Greezed Lightnin', about a 20 minute wait even though we started on the bridge over the antique cars. It was a good ride (its launch system doesn't quite compare to TTD, but hey, it was built 30 years before that) and I'll give it a 7.5. We then took a little break and eat some snacks for the place next to the Skycoaster (its like a fries and funnel cake place). That was pretty good. We then went to the Hat shop thing, across from Greezed Lightnin'. That place had some cool stuff, Me and Austin bought a Robin Hood hat. Anyway, we then rode Enterprise, It was a basic enterprise type ride but it was really short. After that, it was around 4pm so we had to leave, even though there isn't a big quantity of rides and there are too many places with Looooooonnnngg walks with no rides, but it's certainly is enough for a day of fun.
I love Kentucky Kingdom. I wish i could buy the park. To bad KK aint going to have their own website anymore. I cant wait until the park opens back up.
