3/28 Sea World Orlando
We began our 3rd day at Sea World Orlando. It was really annoying having to stare at Manta, but we managed. It's a good thing they weren't testing because I would have just video-taped it all day. This ride looks great, and it isn't a clone of anything! Busch seems to be loving B&M lately, that's a good thing.
At opening, we ran to Kraken. We were on the 1st train on the day. I love B&M Floorless coasters. It may be that it had been so long since I had been on one, but this ride was amazing! I loved how open it was, and it was built right next to a lake for great views. I loved how there were two zero-g inversions instead of the normal 1 on this model. Before 3 when we left, we got 18 rides on this great coaster.
Between rides on Kraken, we squeezed in 3 walk-ons on Journey to Atlantis before it got an hour wait. This ride was ok. I think it explains why Sea World should stick to animals and not build dark rides. The theming on this ride was kind of cheesy, and it looked like a giant warehouse. The drops are what saved this ride.
The only complaint I had was the extremely slow dispatch times on Kraken. The line got to the 30 minute sign around our 15th ride. They ran 2 trains, and the 2nd train was sitting on the breaks for over a minute very frequently.
I know I didn't see any shows, but I used to live by and have season passes to Sea World San Antonio, so the shows weren't very exciting to me.
So at 3, we went to Downtown Disney to get dinner at Planet Hollywood.
Coaster Count:
Kraken x18
Journey to Atlantis x3
We had a great dinner at Planet Hollywood. The building was very cool, and our waiter was awesome.
