I'm not sure if this means anything, but this post was made on Six Flags' Facebook page:
How about something special for us in Houston?! You practically owe us big. :)
This was Six Flags' response:
Much love to Houston. Nothing new for this season but we'll see what's up for 2011.
Is this just a coincidence, or is it a hint?

I dont think theyd build another park. If they do it would be very small i bet. Maybe start off like power plant park.
When I saw that, I started wondering!!!
But I really don't think they are going to build a park because the people who bought the land realse this!!

Wow, someone has some big dreams! lol
The owner of the video is called SixFlagsHouston!!!??!?!?!?
They had really good videos, but I don't think it's really them!!!!??!?!!?!
There won't be a park in Houston...They just say that to not be rude and say it to be nice instead of saying NO WE ARE NOT OPENING ANOTHER PARK IDIOT,I don't know how they deal with some people who comment on there page,if those people ever got what they wanted we would be bankrupt in a year.
Six Flags won't buy another park for a LONG time if they ever do again.

I'm not saying this will never happen, but now or within the next several years, it won't happen. Six Flags would then have 3 parks in Texas. I understand Texas is huge, but two parks is already enough.

I don't really get why that is a problem if they are all 3-5 hours apart.

As anyone realized, the defunct Six Flags AstroWorld was in Houston. This has to be with AstroWorld. It's too much of an exact location to not be something out of the ordinary. Maybe reopen? (no, i don't think so). Or maybe they are takinga coaster out and placing it somewhere?
