Ah Seaworld, Really the reason I wanted to come to San Antonio. Since they opened at 10, and SFFT opened at 3 we obviously started our day here. This proved to be a great family park, seeing as its more focused on little kids, with the addition of a few thrill rides for the older crowd.

If your looking for alot of rides, dont expect it from Seaworld, of course there more catered to the marine life, which I think it's cool to learn something new about the animals here, plus my sister is a complete animal lover so she had something to do except complain about the rides that I like and she hates.

The interactions between the animals and trainers is pretty cool, you get to see the trainers swim with a killer whale, scuba divers feeding fish and you can even feed dolphins for $5, which we did, and it was pretty interesting.

On the thrill side of things they have a pretty fantastic Morgan "mini hyper" that gives boat loads airtime and is actually one of my favorite coasters as of now.

Theres also a BTR clone, called The Great White, which some people say is more intense then the other clones because it has a shorter track length, but to me I found Goliath at SFFT to be the better BTR clone in San Antonio.

The only other real "Thrill Ride" is Journey to Atlantis, which quite frankly I really really liked, it was pretty cool going backward down the mini drop and then having a nice splashdown at the end, even if the splash was pretty weak. Plus it also counts as a credit! Win Win situation!

Overall I was pretty impressed with my Sea World Experience, even if they were only running one train on Steel Eel and Great White, they were both walkons throughout the day so it didn't matter, the only thing we had to wait for was the shamu express, which is a kiddie coaster

They had a Christmas version of the Shamu show, which was still cool, but I really wanna see the Believe show.... oh well, next time I guess.

Anyway, a trip to Seaworld San Antonio is definitely worth it! Well in my opinion anyway!

Great TR!

As well as SFFT, Sea World San Antonio has many firsts for me; first upside-down roller coaster and first hyper-coaster. I really enjoyed Steel Eel.

Do you still have to walk through a long hallway in Great White's queue?

Did you do the 4D theater?

For great white the entrance was outside right on the path that goes under the lift hill, I can see where that long hallway is though, I think they might have switched it around and entrance they use now used to be the exit? Because they had air gates for every row on each side, not really sure, just a thought.

And No, I didn't do the 4D theater, we wanted to get to SFFT so there wasn;t enough time

I personally haven't been there. My cousin has. He said Steel Eel Was better than i looked. Gave a snot load of airtime and weightlessness. I went to Seaworld Orlando...when i was two. So, before Kraken and Manta (thank god there was Atlantis and i was the brave soul in the family and actually rode it.). Don't remember much but getting splashed by Atlantis

Journey to Atlantis is different in orlando right?

Journey to Atlantis is different in orlando right?

Completely different. The version in Orlando has a very long dark ride portion and 2 large drops. The version in San Diego is a combination of the Orlando and San Antonio versions.
