I know this topic has been brought up before and been criticized, but it could be a good event and a real hit with the families. Here is my idea:
-Play Christmas show in Thrill Park Theater
-Have a Santa's Workshop Area
-Lots of Lights and Decorations
-Operate any ride that is able to run in the temperature
-Sell Hot Chololate and other holiday favorites in resteraunts
-Have a christmas tree trail
-Have a sledding hill and snow play area
-Smores Roasting
-Giant Christmas Tree and lighting ceremony
-Christmas Light Show (I do it in my front yard, and it could be awesome with a corporate budget, but probably only a few thousand dollars).
They could be open friday nights, saturday afternoons and evenings, and sunday afternoons from thanksgiving to christmas. Do a midnight party on New Years Eve like at SFMM and be open for the last time on New Years Day. They could even do a polar plunge if they wanted to in the water park.
I would assume that no coasters would be available, so they could just use the front half of the park and it wouldn't take to many employees.
My plan sounds like a lot of fun for a family evening outing, which is the group Shapiro wants to attract. If it was priced right, that sounds like a good list of things for people to do, and they could even add more.
What do you guys think?
