Initial impression; great park! I accidentally went on the day of a huge concert, but it rained so crowds were low all day. I was bummed out that Kingda Ka was closed, but El Toro made up for it!

Ride Count:
El Toro: 23
Nitro: 21
Batman: The Dark Knight: 3
Bizarro: 3
Skully: 2
GASM: 2
Rolling Thunder: 2
Skyway: 2
Batman: The Ride: 1
Congo Rapids: 1

The day started out rough. It was raining when we got to the park, but stopped by rope drop. There were probably about 200 people at the rope drop on the left side of main street, which seemed pretty good. We headed to El Toro, but it was closed. We tried Bizarro, but that too was closed. The trams were closed, and so was Runaway Mine Train. We continued across the park, only to find that TDK, Batman: The Ride, and Big Wheel were closed.

Then we got to Nitro. There was no wait for every row other than front and back, and a 1 train wait for back, and 3 trains for front. We tried back row, and had a great ride. The crew was great too. With 3 trains, and a train getting dispatched every time the last train left the lift, they were flying! Nitro was a great ride, as expected, and after 2 more rides, we went to Skully.

Skully was a lot better than I expected. I walked right into the station into the back row, and it was lots of fun. The first drop was unexpected, just like everyone said. The only question I have is, what is that pumpkin everyone keeps talking about? I got back to the station, and moved to the front row. I got my own train! It might be simple, but it made me happy. lol

We then continued to go ride TDK. We walked right into the pre-show in the middle, and they were just telling people to walk right through and go on the ride. It seems kind of silly, and I don't like that the ride attendants take the ride as that much of a joke. We got on the ride, and I don't know what everyone has been complaining about. The queue and ride were very well-themed, and even though I was expecting it, the car horn at the end still scared me! We decided to go again since there was no one in signt in line, and the second ride was just as fun! Remember, you guys could have ended up with a plain outdoor wild mouse. Be happy with what you got!

Next, we went on Nitro a few more times, and saw El Toro and Bizarro were finally testing! We got on the skyway and rode all the way to El Toro, to find that it was open! We had a 2 train wait for the back row, and that thing is AMAZING!!!! If Shapiro didn't try to get rid of it, I bet we would have seen clones of it all over the chain. It deserves all the hype it gets, and more! The first drop is the single best first drop on any coaster, and being one of the steepest. It is amazing that it takes all the hills at such speed. The air-time is finonimal! As soon as I hit the brakes, I turned to my brother, and said, "Guess who just got a new #1 coaster?" It was my favorite at once. Even when you think it is about to calm down, you hit the best drop of the whole ride passing into Rolling Thunder's infield.

My brother got off, and said it was too intense to be re-rideable, so we split up, and I rode it 9 more times without leaving the station due to th empty rows. Each one just as good, everywhere in the train. It was turning out to be an awesome day!

Next, I met back up with my brother, and we decided to go try out Bizarro. While it is just Medusa with fire, I liked the ride, but I think Six Flags really missed an opportunity to show us what they were capable of. According to Finbow, I heard part of the media day audio, if anyone is interested. I really thought the Bizarro #1 music was funny, even if it made no sense unless you analyze every detail of Six Flags lol. Everyone thought it was funny.

We rode again twice, and had just as much fun. All of the effects worked, and the auger of doom makes a very good head-chopper. Next, I went and had a few more rides on El Toro, and I decided to try Rolling Thunder. I went on the right side, second row since I didn't feel like waiting when that side was on one train operation. It was a fun ride, and they raced, but someone needs to learn this concept that we call "banked turns." It was way too jurky on the turns, and it was annoying that they weren't banked.

We got back to the station, and Dainan broke Rolling Thunder. We stopped 3 gates behind where we were supposed to be parked, and Dainin told us the ride was broken. We sat there for about 10 minutes, until someone with maintnance came, pushed 1 button, and we moved forward. At lease I got to ride again in the front raow since we waited for them to fix it.

Next I went to go ride Superman, but saw the line at the 60 minute sign with 1 train, and I really didn't feel like waiting 2 hours for a ride I have done tons of times before. I went and had lunch at the boardwalk sausage place, and rode GASM. That thing's really rough, and the queue should emberass the park! The ceiling was rusted through in some places! That thing just needs to go and get replaced by a nice Intamin.

Well, my afternoon didn't have much to talk about. I somehow got up to 19 rides on Nitro and 22 on El Toro. I saw the dolphin show, which I thought was pretty good, but it was very cheesy in some parts. One of the actors was told to swab the decks, and her response was, "That is so, like, 1 flag!" Which I thought was pretty clever, then they had a finale with the Six Flags theme song and had all the dolphins do all kinds of flips.

Somewhere in there, I got on Congo Rapids, which was really boring, and one of the attendants were asleep. You could tell they were so enthused at being paid to watch rafts of people go by all day. lol

Then I got a coupon from Mobile Funatics, and got a really good deal at Papa Johns! I got 2 souvenir cups, 2 plates of cheesebread, 4 cookies, a salad, and a whole pizza for $25!

Then I went back to El Toro for my 23 ride when I was stalked down by someone who said they were a traitor for calling themselves a fan of nitro, but voting for Goliath. Yup, it was Finbow and Jason (yes Jason, Finbow gets his name first lol). I rode El Toro on the train after them (they cut me in line) and had my last ride of the day! We then went to Nitro, and rode twice, and then rode Batman: The Ride. That was my best ride ever on a Batman clone! It was too bad I had to go because I was having lots of fun.

Overall, it was a great day! It was a bummer that Kingda Ka was closed, but I wasn't going to let that ruin my day.

Kingda ka is open and closed all year after that lightning strike. It fried all the electrical wires and damaged a few pieces of equipment. The park did apply a cheap fix to get it open but it was cheap and didnt fix it as you saw. after the season it should be fixed 100%

Yeah, I was aware of the Kingda Ka situation before I went. I'm a very active member at Great Adventure Online, and Screamscape kind of has their story wrong, and they won't admit it when we correct them.

I still had an awesome day. El Toro is AMAZING!

El Toro is defineatly worth riding 23 and Nitro is worth rding maybe 15 times, not 21. That's a lucky day for you.

I like how you put Finbow first over Jason. And that Dainan broke RT, like he usually does.
