I was mad they didn't switch the movie to Elvira though. Not many pictures either but this is what i got.

You don't know it was a lie. They could very well have been planning the expansion.

Then why would they have acted the way they did?

Well didn't someone on the site who worked at SFKK say that employee's just made the posted? Or something like that.

No, I drew all my facts from the news sources that reported on this. They basically held a gun to the states head and said give us what we want or we shoot. Sorry they made it painfully obvious of their intent. Sorry but removing chang for a water park? Then asking to re-negotiate a lease that wasn't even unfair? I can understand re-negotiating to maybe save a few K a year in payments but to ask for 5 years of no payments? Thats never going to work and they knew that.

Oh yeah and sneaking off with 2 sets of trains from TT during the summer before they removed Chang. Hmm I think I have pretty solid evidence.

They had no plan to re-open Northwest, and they had no plan to build a water park. They left all those rides back there to just rust to pieces while taking off with what they could use at their other parks, IE the gerstlauer trains which were in pretty good shape. Then to take down Chang with 1 month left of operation for the year. Why wouldnt you want to wait until after the seasons over? Clearly there was something up. You can't say with a straight face that they werent planning this from the beginning.

Media is never 100% correct. Just look at FOX News Channel.

Sorry but removing chang for a water park?
You and I both know what Six Flags' intent was for the park, It was just eventually going to get swallowed into a water park, and Bonzai Beach was just the start.

Oh yeah and sneaking off with 2 sets of trains from TT during the summer before they removed Chang.
How do you know the park wasn't planning on refurbing the whole area and giving you guys some fresh new Timberliners?

Look, I know it's hard that your park wasn't always top priority on Six Flags' list, I know that first hand with Great America, but sometimes, you've just got to let it go. Six Flags clearly didn't have some master plan as to how to destroy KK and get a stand-up and some woodie trains and run. It just all fell into place as to how bad of a park KK really was for the chain. I'm sure Weber would have dropped KK anyways. Just be grateful you now have Ed Hart, who will hopefully get you guys back on track.

They werent giving them Timberliners. They hadnt even been tested, built or ran. plus it was a CCI coaster. GG wouldn't let a CCI/GCI coaster use their new trains first.

And I did let it go but some people cant see the truth. And Courier Journal is always correct. They got their information from interviews, what each side said and past history. They never have posted wild rumors or straight up lies.

Haha yeah. I just read an editorial in the paper today on the way from school. Hits it right on the head on why the park needs to open and why it makes perfect sense that the city go ahead and give their share of the plan to get it going.
