Cliff's Amusement Park (Albuqureque NM) 9/5/09

So, my sister goes to the University of New Mexico, and well, I cant say no to a credit stop!

This is a nice little park, with the last CCI coaster ever started (yes the park had to finish it themselves) They had a nice selection of flats, but it might be hard to spend the entire day here

So, I'm curious. Why can't you say no to a credit? Maybe I don't fully understand the importance of the ride credits. Do you get paid for them or something, or is it just basically bragging rights?

Bragging rights. I'm not one of those people like some from TPR who will stop at every Pizza Play place across the country that has a kiddie coaster, but I will go to decent parks like this if it looks like I will actually have fun.

My rule of thumb is have fun on the rides that you will enjoy, then if you return to a park, get all the missed credits.

That's kinda what I though, but wanted to be sure. It sounds like one could reach the point where it stops being about just going to a park and having fun because you love the whole idea of it, and become about something less fun, like wasting time and gas and money going places you'd normally never go just because there's something there you want. That doesn't sound like fun to me.

If you ever catch yourself in a Shoe Carnival alone on a Tuesday because a friend of a friend of a friend told you they have a shoe coaster there and you end up leaving with women's shoes...it might be time to rethink this dangerous rebellious streak you got goin' on.

I passed this park a few days ago. It's too bad it's closed for the season.
