Cedar Point 10/10/09 & 10/11/09

Last year I went to cedar point, however I had maybe like 12 credits a year ago, so I thought it was the greatest place ever. This year I had 105 (110 now because I got 5 that I didn't get last year) So I can actually compare there coasters now, and know how good they are or aren't

I'll start off by saying Maverick is still my favorite coaster there, all the quick direction changes and intense transitions are just completely incredible.

Top Thrill Dragster I found to be a lot better then I remember, rode it 4 times, and twice in the front row. I'll just say, wait the extra 45 for the front row and you wont regret it.

Millennium Force was running absolutely 100% better then last year, I think it's just because this is a ride which is way better in the front of the train, where last year I rode in the back. Sit in row 2 so you can look over the people in front of you (because the seats are up higher) and it feels like your in the front without having to wait forever. I'll even say Its almost as good as Bizarro!

Raptor is just ok, BTR is worlds better

Didn't even bother with Mantis or Mean streak, had horrible experiences on them last year

Iron dragon is pretty meh, whereas I love Ninja at SFMM

I love Gemini

Disaster Transport was a surprise for me because I thought it would be rather dull, but I was blown away, It was such a good ride!

Crowds were horrible Saturday (only got 6 rides in 10 hours) but fine on Sunday

Blue Streak is really fun!

Alright Ive now finished all the TR's by everyone. Now i can move forward now that they are secured forever and begin building our trip/park index.

1. Well, you got to ride Demon Drop before it left.
2. I see Cedar Point (i don't remember King's Dominion has this) has the time slots thing, instead of people standing in the front of the entrance (Six Flags) or has super electronic time counter to determine the wait (Universal/Disney).

I am assuming by time slots, you mean the sign at the entrance to each ride with the rules and wait time. I don't think SFGAdv has those signs at the entrance to rides, but most Six Flags parks have those signs at the entrances as well as employees, though they are usually pretty inaccurate. The employees at the entrances are foocusing more on checking heights and making sure no one carries bags in line. I am assuming that is how it works at Cedar Point as well.

Disneys is the most accurate id say. Its usually off only by a few minutes. They send people through with a necklace that you give to the the ride attendant and then they update the clock based on how long it took you to get through. (the necklace cards have a time like 11:00, so if you went through at 11 and got to the attendant at 11:45 they update it at 45 minutes long)

Well, i love Universal's time thingy around the park. I always used it. we would get off MIB, walk like 4 steps to a sign, and the thing would say the time for Back to the Future (Simpson's ride now) and we would go to it or not.

^^GADV i know does not. From what i remember of SFNE and SFGE, there was no signs. Just the people standing there saying a guesstimated time. 90% they are off by like 20 minutes. Always happens.

Disney has made alot of advancements in its time system. now they have a partner ship with verizon plus pal mickey to notify you of times and stuff. I wonder if they changed anything on SM's update because the graphic overlay on them was removed for a long time so who knows lol.
