I was just reading the paper last night. Kentucky Kingdom has a teeny tiny slot in it saying that they want 270,000 people to come to Kentucky Kingdom and dress up as zombies so that, as a guiness world record, they will all do the Thriller dance simultaneously. Anybody see a minor error? lol I mean I dont think 270,000 go to the statefair in one day. Another thing they are going to do it at the front gates, but that means they will take up part of the parking lot.....so where is everyone going to park then?
How do u feel?

That's a stupid idea, plain and simple.

How is this the weirdest? Its a good idea to bring people in and get more money.

^ Money yes, weird yes, stupid no.
This would be cool, but there would be hell. Lines would be 3 hours long, food lines would be like Chang's line on a busy day in the summer.
The record would be funny though.

Im going that day so its not going to get in my way. Most people probably wont buy a ticket though so im in good shape and it will make the park look better in my pics lol.

I think they just added an extra 0 by mistake. 270,000 is 1/2 the population of my city! It's probably about 1/3 of the population of Louisville. 27,000 is a managable size.

Tiger no offence, but seriously. You cant believe 270,000 people would show up for that. Its kind of rude btw to use Michael Jacksons death as a publicity stunt.

Not only that, but SFKK right now is only about 50% up to spec. If they got 270,000 people there, and they all decided to come into the park (however unlikely), they'd see a bunch of stuff closed and a very minimal frightfest as opposed to last year. The people who aren;t keeping up with every movement over there would come in expecting a very different park experience than the one that I personally think they're entitled to.
It's like having a bunch of people over to a bbq at your house while you're remodeling every room. For the people that are unaware, it's making a very bad impression.
This could be a good idea if they waited until next season or 2011 when the park will be more accomodating to a large group of people like that, but then they won't be able to tastelessy capitalize on Michael Jackson's death because by then it will be old, old news.
If anybody should try a stunt like this it's Beech Bend, a very nice fully functioning park that actually owns a ride that Michael Jackson used to have at his house.

270,000 people. Michigan Wovlerine's staduim if duplicated still couldn't fit that. That is a s*** load of people. Highly doubt that much can fit in SFKK.

They'll probably get 500 people to participate at the very most. Even that's a pretty high number.

I still just think they added an extra 0 by mistake.

I think your right 27,000 seems more reasonable, but still....Also its going to be outside the gate of the parks. So everyone gets there and they see Chang being torn down Im sure a large amount are going to be a bit freaked out.
