I'll try to make it quick. Got there at 12:30, left around 6:30. Empty, longest wait was 15 minutes. Superman was down, and nothing is to be known. i talked with an op today. He said that the Tornado slide is 100% and it probably will be an expansion and not a replacement. Houdini's Great Escape was finnaly opened for the first time in 2 or so years.

Ride count:
Batman: The Ride: 1
Nitro: 3
El Toro: 1
Bizarro: 2
Skyride: 2
Kingda Ka: 1 (first time. Sad to say.)
Rolling Thunder (Left side): 1

Notes: The op i talked with (kingda Ka) said that they find an average of 5 iTouchs a day, about 10 hats, and 30 phones.

That op said a coaster might be arriving in 2010. Which means either 2010 is a new coaster or 2011 is a new coaster.

kingda ka had a minor break down, and that op (who shouldn't have told me this because he can lose his job) told me the senser was dirty and must be clean. If its not clean, it'll say no train is at the launch spot.

Fright Fest themeing looking great. All the trail signs are up and the Ferris Wheel was closed for The Deadman's Party show.

^Kingda Ka? Well, it was the sensor, not the cable, or engine, or brakes, or anything like that.

Yes. They didnt fully repair it all. Most of the wires/sensors are still bad. It will take quite a bit of time to replace it. It was fried good.

Austin, are you kidding me? Where do you get your info from? How could you could possibly be able to relate a minor Kingda Ka breakdown to a lightning strike 4 months ago?

Because they didnt repair everything. It would have ben closed still if they had to do that. Ok maybe not still closed but it would have been closed alot longer then it was. They only repaired it to the point of possible operation.

I do. This is quoted from their site:

I’ve been told not to expect Kingda Ka to reopen until around the end of July as they are hard at work trying to finish up the much needed repair to the system. No more band-aids, this should be the real fix.
