(9/15/09) A local source claims that Superman: ROS at SFA may be getting repainted this fall. Of course this has some wondering if Bizarro may be on the way to SFA in 2010, but somehow I don’t think this is the case.
Can we see Bizarro #3 (as in the two others (SFGAdv and SFNE))?

Well, S: ROS is Cloned (sort of) so it's a very good chance. An the helixes on that on is perfect for fire.

If you're going to retheme it, please theme it to something Batman related. They have a freakin' Superman themed ride in the middle of their Gotham City section of the park!

^Well Six Flags hasn't themed the rides to fit the area. My six flags (Great Adventure) has at least 3 or 4 misplaced rides. When i went to SFGE, the rides don't quite fit the area. When i went to SFNE, plenty of rides where in the same place, but some were off a bit.
Yea. SFA looks like a nice park so i wouldnt be surprised.
SFA has actually been labeled as one of the worst, dumpiest parks in the Six Flags chain...so I doubt it's a very nice park.

It looks like a pretty nice park. It is the park that has that main street style enterance right? If its that one then yea i really want to go to it.

i only saw it from a map from like i think 2000 or 2003 and it really resembled a disney main street from the map.

I don't think so. I wouldn't call it Disney level, but it was pretty darn close.

I don't really understand why everyone thinks that. The coaster selection isn't the best out there, but I found it to be one of the nicest parks in the Six Flags chain when I was there this summer.

^Well the reviews say it's a dump, but my cousin went on a camp trip there. He said it was clean, nice, but a bit small. So it's not quite what the reviews say, but one persons opinion is different than others.

So I decided to go nag park officials on some of the park's pages about future expansion to see if I could get them to leak anything, and here is what I got from SFA:
My Origional Post
Six Flags America,
You guys have been focusing on the music-lovers with the concert series, and the families with the train retheme and Thomas Town. What are you planning for the thrill-seekers?
Their Response:
Do you mean aside from our mega-coaster, Superman, our flying Coaster, Batwing, our LIM Coaster - Joker's Jinx, our suspended coaster Mind Eraser, an insanely cool wooden coaster - Roar, the ninety-two year old Wild One, Skycoaster, Tower Of Doom, Falling Star, Skull Mountain - a unique Coaster/Log flume hybrid, let alone, Tony Hawk's Halfpipe, Bahama Blast, Hurricane Bay Wavepool, Shark Attack, Penguin's Blizzard River, Renegade Rapids & Shipwreck Falls? Well gosh, I guess if that's not enough for right now, you'll just have to hold on tight for a while!
Well that was a very typical PR response! I guess it was kind of what I expected to hear. I'm gonna see what they say if I explain how KD has something better in each of those categories! lol

Everybody's always bragging about the mega thrills of their sky coaster. It's a bunch of poles in the ground with a cord. I could build one of those in my backyard.
Skycoasters. Blah. Nothing to brag about. Or name a part of your park after (looking at you, SFKK).
Skycoasters are like the reality tv of the park. In reality tv, the shows cost nothing but people still get hooked on them. The skycoaster is a cheap shortcut to make people oooh and aaah over how brave their friends are, when in reality they parks don't have to fork over the loot top put in a real ride.
Sorry. The PR guy from the park bragging about his skycoaster ticked me off.

^Well it kinda annoyed me that he bragged about Falling Star, which a clone of the Huss Rainbow that was removed from SFKK earlier this year! That is definately NOT a thrill ride. They also added the water rides, which certianly do not count in my book. It was just annoying that they attempted to make me look bad in their response. I think they were annoyed with the question. I almost posted a long post about how King's Dominion 1-ups them on everything, but thought better of it.
Ane I really like Skycoasters, but they are too expensive most of the time.

The park should be removing their rainbow. The rainbows have a major design fault in them, that when they wear out they can cause injuries and death to riders, jsut watch this:
It was taken the fall of 2008, right before SFKK pulled their rainbow.

That is the design flaw that also resulted in Great America removing Trailblazer a few years ago.

Well, this is deflating:
(10/9/09) No Bizarro for SFA fans it seems, as Superman is getting repainted in the same Red & Blue colors that we know and love.
Well, this discussion is basically over with because it is a re-paint, not a new color.
