At 1:30am on Sunday morning, two of my good friends were killed in a horrible car accident. So horrible that it is impossible to explain...
Today was the hardest school day I have ever experienced in my life. Everyone knew them well. The school called in all kinds of state counselors for us to talk to, but each and every student sat in complete silence throughout all 7 periods. Chase was the quarterback of our varsity football team, and Kalyn was the pointguard on our girl's varsity basketball team. They were some of the most fun, optimistic, easy-going people you could ever meet, and it is really hard to even TRY to imagine what life is going to be like without them.
Their visitations are tomorrow afternoon, and the funerals will be in different churches on Wednesday morning. I just ask you all to keep all of their friends and family members in your prayers.
Please, count your blessings, and live every day that God grants you to its fullest.
