To start this week off, we don't really have much to post about. We'll have a few new things announced and dated though. This newsletter will mainly just be a refresher and serve as a update mainly on current events and planned events.
Current Events
Myspace Profile and Group page:
I've been working on setting this up for some time. I'll be finishing this up Sunday, and I will announce it publicly when I am done with it. We hope this will help us get us some new members as we will then be active on both Facebook and Myspace.
Myyearbook Profile:
I'm going to be making one of these for the site. It is pretty much a cross between Myspace and Facebook. Very innovative. Very easy to advertise on it also, so thats exactly what I like. I hope to begin making it after the myspace profile is finished.
New Graphics:
We have finally decided on pictures that will be featured on our next skin. It will be essentially a remake of the default skin, but with the new innovative banner. Rarely any site has what we are bringing to the table. We believe we will be the first fan site for six flags or any Six Flags theme park for that matter to have it also. Here's the details:
Four Pictures of Coasters, Greezed Lightnin', Chang, Road Runner, & Thunder Run.
Four Pictures of Events, Raven in concert, Sean Kingston in concert, and Two Fright Fest pictures.
Four Pictures of rides, Enterprise, Tornado, Wheel, Deluge.
Five pictures of general park pictures, Entrance sign, Splashwater Kingdom entrance, Dutch Village buildings, Movie Store facade, Food and Drink buildings outside of Splashwater Kingdom.
How it will work, In the center, the site logo will be positioned. On the sides of it, 2 stacks of pictures will be placed. Like for example on the left side of the logo their could be coasters, events, then on the right would be rides and general pics. How it would work, would be that after a period of about 10-15 seconds, the pics will fade out and a new picture will fade in.
I'm really excited for this. Look for it next week.
Triple Flags Challenge:
We have finally announced this. This should be pretty exciting and fun, so join :D
The Basic Set Up:
3 games that are randomly selected
3 rounds - 1 game per round
4 people - all 4 must play in all 3 games
Awards:
1st Place - Person with most wins
2nd Place - Person with second most wins
3rd Place - Person with 3rd most wins
Special Awards:
Winner of all 3 games (no losing)
Ties:
If there is a tie, the people tied like if 3 people have 1 win each, those 3 will have to play in a sudden death match. One person will be randomly selected to move on to the next round. the other 2 have to play a first round game. Who ever wins that goes to the 2nd stage of sudden death and face the person who had a bye.
Who ever comes out on top of the 2nd stage wins the first place, then the loser, aka runner up, wins the 2nd place and then the person who last first gets 3rd.
If a person wins all 3, the 3 remaining people will go into a "playoff" mode. Which is simply the same as the tie breaker. 1 person randomly selected to advance to the next round without having to play a person, which would equate to a bye round. The other 2 will battle it out in the wild card round. who ever wins that goes to the championship game. who ever wins that will obviously win the 1st place, with the loser getting 2nd place, and then the last person getting 3rd.
I have designed this to be hopefully as fair as possible, giving everyone a chance to win. If you would like to participate, send me a PM with this info:
1. Name
2. Reason you want to participate
3. Games in the arcade that your good at.
So please join lol. We have three of the four spots filled. Your sure to have fun!
Skins Reloaded!:
Ok so many of you all complained that alot of the skins were hard on your eyes and to hard to look at. Well weve fixed that! on every skin except the default there have been a series of minor and major color changes that are very noticeable. We encourage you all to check them out and give us some feedback on how they look now.
