^That's what i was thinking, or something along the lines of a Drama/Action movie with a gun fight in this area/

Not even close. It's not a horror movie. No gunfights, just police cars and a HUGE mess.

No and No. This movie was released in 1980, and was filmed before the mall began to rot into its current state.

^No, that was filmed at Monroeville Mall in Pennsylvania. That is an AWESOME movie though.

That I believe was Hawthorne Plaza out in California; Hollywood has not been near this mall since 1979.

I guess this movie doesn't have as huge of a following as it does in the Chicago area... [hint]
