Magic Mountain trip on Sunday. Lines were very empty.. X2 was a 10 minute wait, Tatsu was also 10 minutes, Superman was right to the gates, and Deja Vu was up to the gates as well. Maybe everyone was in church, or waiting for the Fright Fest, but it was very empty. The most time we had to wait was 30 minutes on Batman. Goliath was straight to the gates as well.
October means it was the Fright Fest! Well, we weren't there very long for the FF though. Left the park at 7:30, and FF started at 7. But I was NOT impressed by it. I thought CGA's (California's Great America) Halloween Haunt was bad, but Fright Fest at Magic Mountain wasn't very good. I was hoping for bloody people with chainsaws running after people in the fog. Didn't get it. We walked from Riddler's Revenge (very back of the park) to the front to exit, and we only came across 3 monsters that attempted to scare us. THREE. All in 1 "Scare Zone". Maybe the mazes are better, but I was not impressed. :hitwithrock:
Anyways, we went on all the rides we wanted to go on, plus more. X2 2x, Superman 2x, Goliath 2x, and pretty much all the roller coasters from 10 am - 7 pm.
And there's been NO construction yet on Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom... While leaving to go back north on Monday, there were NO cranes or anything taking apart Deja Vu. I guess they're waiting to do the construction.
