Well I just read through every topic on the site, and found lots of off-topicness, spelling problems, double posting, and other issues.
Sorry to ruin all the celebration over Jps right now, but this needs to be addressed.
Off-Topic
If you would like to be off-topic and randon, we have an off-topic section. Please write all your off-topic, random posts there. There should not be discussion of when Twisted Twins will re-open in the Six Flags Bankruptcy thread. We have several threads where it is acceptable to discuss Twisted Twins. Please keep the discussion there. I have found Twisted Twins mentioned in over 1/2 the threads on the site.
Spelling
We can understand a spelling issue every here and there, but some posts have been ridiculous. Please read over your post before posting it, and please don't apologize for the errors; just fix them.
Double-Posting
This isn't a site rule, but it is just annoying and makes the site look cluttered. Please consolidate your thoughts into 1 post, and don't post again unless it has been several days since since your post if no one else has posted. I have seen quadruple posting, with 2 pointless posts. Once again, it's just annoying and it brings the site quality down.
Pointless Posts/Topics
There have been a lot of pointless posts and topics. We have a thread called the pointless thread. If you have an urge to make a pointless post, please do it there. There have been a lot of topics from people saying "I'm going to Six Flags Magic Mountain tomorrow." That's great, but that topic doesn;t belong in the other parks section. If you would like to tell us that you are going to a park, put it in the Trip Report section, and just add you trip report to it after you go.
No one has been given official warnings or infractions yet, but I have given a few people friendly reminders. This is a friendly reminder to everyone to please follow those basic rules. That is really all we ask about posting that isn't common sense. Please note that if these rules continue to be repetitively broken, you may be given an infraction, and possibly be banned if the violation continues.
